Dress

Dress in Fife and Drum Corps are predominately in two genres: Revolutionary War military and U.S. Civil War military and some military eras (American and British) in between.  A few corps dress as civilians during these particular eras as well as a few that have adopted contemporary uniforms.   Many corps research and dress as a particular regiment.  American regiments from the Revolutionary War through the Civil War era did not have one consistent dress.  Each regiment hailed from a particular region and had it’s own particular uniform.  Because of this research, each individual corps will be best suited to establish dress standards.
